To prepare for implementation of the proposed new TASC Work Readiness and Pathways to Work courses the following professional learning program has been developed.
Phase 1: Preparing for Work in Times of Rapid Change
Two day conference 22nd & 23rd November. During this phase teachers and school leaders will have an opportunity to immerse themselves in a range of concepts relating to the changed nature of the World of Work and Career Development. preparing-for-work-in-times-of-rapid-change-flier Register here
Phase 2: What Now for Work Readiness and Pathways to Work
is in December (7th December North / 8th December South) and is focused on unpacking the new courses and the Fronter Room to support implementation – Register here for December PL
Phase 3: Teaching and Learning Tools:
involves a series of on-line supports to assist teachers to develop their confidence in utilising a range of tools, social media and other digital technology to enable them to deliver the course. (Details available soon)
