Years 9 to 12 Project – Consultation – Integrated Model for Course Design and Delivery

The Years 9 to 12 Project team are seeking your feedback on the Draft Integrated Model for Course Design and Delivery and proposed policy positions.

The model describes the structural elements underpinning the Years 9 to 12 curriculum renewal process. For more information please watch the video introduction and/or access the Integrated Model Professional Learning Pack.

Schools are encouraged to run a Professional Learning Activities for Staff session, and fill out the group survey.

Responses from individual teachers, leaders and others, are welcomed via the individual survey. These surveys are now open until 5.00 pm on Monday 14 December 2020.

Consultation sessions will also be run at the conference: Tas Ed Talks: Inspiring Years 9-12 Futures.

Responses to Frequently Asked Questions about the Integrated Model and course development are available. Please contact Years 9 to 12 Project with further questions.

NOTE: The Integrated Model and the Policy Position Papers have been developed through an extensive review of literature and emerging educational policy trends. They are designed to gain stakeholder feedback about the high level concept(s) being proposed. It is not possible to present a fully resolved model at this point in time. Once positions have been developed on the basis of consultation, further work can continue with project partners and key stakeholders to co-construct a model that is best suited to the Tasmanian context, subject to any necessary policy development, systems, operational and legislative change.
