Registration for 2017 September Years 11&12 Moderation is open from Tuesday the 8th August and will close on Sunday the 27th August at 5:00pm.

All teachers attending 2017 September 1st Moderation are required to register before the 27th August.

You can view a full list of courses being moderated or not here: 2017 September Moderation – List of courses moderated and not moderated.

Timetables for the day can be found on the Moderation page of the Years 11&12 website where teachers will also find venue information and instructions from Moderation Leaders on what to do before each meeting.

Registration must occur first to receive a password to access meeting instructions and samples for relevant courses.

When teachers register they will be sent a confirmation email confirming:

  • the sessions that they have registered for;
  • a password to access meeting instructions which will include tasks to complete before the meeting and/or instructions on what to bring to the meeting.

There is a general expectation that all teachers will bring (or have electronic access to) the TASC course document for the courses in their meetings – and that they will have registered and checked the website for instructions and tasks. Most meetings formats require pre assessment of samples and electronic pre submission of ratings prior to the meeting.

Thank you to our hosts, St Patrick’s College in the North and Hobart College in the South. Refreshments will be provided on arrival by host colleges and a light lunch will be provided by Curriculum Services for all registered teachers.

Moderation of work samples to ensure comparability of standards across the state is a vital and highly valued Professional Learning experience and we thank all DoE, Independent and Catholic schools and colleges for their continued support.

Please register online as soon as possible and take care to follow instructions.

We look forward to seeing all teachers of Years 11 &12 moderated courses on Friday 1st September.
